Book: Elizabeth Peters: The Dead Sea Cipher
I don't know why I have this book. I don't remember buying it. Looks like it has been bought in an airport.
It is a mixture between an Agatha Christie thriller and the Da Vinci Code. In other words I was extremely not impressed by the plot.
Young woman is on archeology tour in the near east and is caught up in the hunt of some new dead sea scrolls that both a sincere scholar and some evil bandits wants to lay their hands on. And we don't know who are spies...
It is exciting however and kept me from falling asleep on the train no matter how busted I was right after being ill. I recommend it for travel reading, but don't expect too much.
