Open positions:

Here, I will post open positions (with funding).

Update April 2010: We are recruiting 3 bioinformatics postdocs to start in early Fall 2010 - either in mine or Anders Krogh's group. I will post the advert here when the formalities are appended

Update April 2010: Additionally, I am will advertise for an experimental (and possibly also a bit computational) postdoc to start in early 2011, working with CAGE analysis on leukemia samples. I have not made the advert yet, but feel free to contact me informally about this position

Regardless if I offer positions above or not, I always welcome informal inquiries from talented individuals by email.
PhD student candidates can have either a life science or math-oriented background, but should know how to program and fundamental concepts in sequence analysis. Experience in machine learning techniques and/or statistics is a big plus.
Postdoc candidates should have a strong publication record in a related subject and be driven individuals.
For the record - I do not answer mass-email applications
